Darryl Douglas Huhta

Darryl was born on August 4th, 1962 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Darryl mostly grew up in Onnela, Michigan and was a graduate of the Houghton High School class of 1980. After graduation Darryl joined and served with pride in the United States Marine Corps. Darryl loved the outdoors and enjoyed hiking.

He is preceded in death by his father Donald Huhta, his mother Mildred (Riutta) Huhta and daughter Melia Kai Huhta.

Darryl is survived by his wife Augusta Garrison Huhta of Coleville California, son Seth of Arizona, son Josiah Huhta (April), grandchildren Hezikiah and Harlow Huhta all of Caledonia Ohio, brothersDaniel Huhta and Charles Huhta both of Houghton Michigan, brother Kurt Huhta of Anchorage Alaska, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at 11 a.m. at the Coleville Community Church in Coleville, California.
