James Haralson

He was the beloved husband of 67 years to Nancy (Poisson); Loving father of Mark (Nomi), Cindy (David) and James (Lori); Cherished grandfather of Jessica, Alexandria (Jon), Shaun, and Grant; Treasured great-grandfather of 5; brother of Joan, Phyllis, and Karen.

Jim was preceded in death by 5 sisters and 2 brothers.

In his early, young adult life, Jim served with honor in the United States Navy during the Korean War. For decades, Jim worked as a teacher for Warren Consolidated Schools, where he inspired countless students with his dedication for learning. He continued to further his education into his later years. In his leisure time, Jim found enjoyment in traveling and woodworking. Yet, his most cherished moments were spent camping with his family and creating memories that would last a lifetime.

Jim was deeply loved and will be greatly missed

Jim will be laid to rest privately at Great Lakes National Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held later.
