Jean Lipson
HANCOCK — Jean Lipson passed away on April 4, 2024 in the comfort of her home. She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Stephen Lipson, several children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Pat and Taff, and brother Jackie.
Jean was born in Baltimore, Maryland on December 5, 1953. In her early years, she proudly worked at John’s Hopkins as a shock trauma Registered Nurse, where she met and fell in love with Steve. They married on August 31st, 1980. Steve and Jean shared 44 beautiful years of marriage. Together, they had several children and grandchildren.
Jean will be remembered for many things like her gentle presence and her ability to carry on a conversation. Steve and their children and grandchildren were her greatest joys in life. She loved to spoil her grandchildren with gifts and it wasn’t uncommon to receive multiple packages a year from “Grams.”
