Patrick A. Kobe

Pat was born October 5, 1951, in Calumet, MI, son of the late Peter and Christine (Plute) Kobe. He graduated from Calumet High School, Class of 1969, and went on to study electrical engineering at Michigan Technological University. He began his career at F.G. Bieti & Assoc., which later incorporated into Z & R Electric Services. He then took a position with Systems Control in Iron Mountain and finished out his career with Rockwell Automation in Kingsford, MI.

Patrick would always start his mornings with a little coffee and music. He enjoyed taking walks around the neighborhood and loved to solve puzzles. He was a wonderful caregiver. Along with caring for people, he had many other hobbies/interests that included, cooking, grilling, and swapping recipes with friends. Earlier in life, he enjoyed being active and involved in sports and games such as playing cards, gol?ng, bowling, and he especially loved horseshoes.

Patrick is predeceased by his father, Peter P. Kobe, his mother, Christine E. Kobe (Plute), and his brother-in-law, Valentine J. (Bill) Ozdych.

He is survived by his sister, Joanne Ozdych of Eagle River, MI/Holmes Beach, FL; his niece, Julie (Phil) Stephens; his nephews, Joseph (Lauri) Ozdych and James Ozdych; his great nieces, Adrianna (Dan) Howard, Audree Stephens, Emma Ozdych, Kaitlin Ozdych, Julia Ozdych, and his great nephew, Will Ozdych.

There will be a private graveside service at Lakeview Cemetery in Calumet for family.

In lieu of ?owers, the family asks that you consider donating to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital in Patrick’s name.
