Suzanne Marie Pomroy

She was born July 2, 1966, in Milwaukee, WI, a daughter to Raymond and Darlene (Rogers) Pomroy.

Suzie graduated from Calumet High School with the Class of 1984. She graduated from Western Michigan University in 1988 with a degree in Fashion Merchandising. With her attention to detail, work ethic and drive to succeed, she stepped into the corporate world immediately. She began her career in retail management and purchasing with Gilmore Brothers Department store in Kalamazoo, followed by the beginning operations and opening of the Houghton Walmart in 1995. Suzie was currently employed as the kitchen manager for Pasty Central.

Suzie married Kevin Fraki in 1994. Together, they have two beautiful, successful, hardworking daughters. She loved to go on walks and put on many miles over the years.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lake Linden.

Preceding her in death was her father, Ray, godparents Ray and Barbara Bessner and her fiance Wayne Kolomonen.

She is survived by her daughters, Hannah Fraki (Michael) and Amanda Fraki (Maxx). Her mother, Darlene Pomroy. Siblings, Karyn Pomroy (Jim), Marc (Becky) Pomroy, Mary (Kevin) Bastian, Christina (Haley) Hill- Pomroy. Nieces and Nephews Brooke, Liam, Marah, Jack, Colton, Finn, Lucas and Logan. A prayer service will be held by on Wednesday July 17, 2024 at 7 p.m. in the Siskiwit Reception Hall in Calumet with Fr. Gracious Pulimoottil to officiate. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday July 17 at the Siskiwit Reception Hall.

Burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery in Lake Linden.

The Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
