Bob Hannula

GREEN BAY — It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bob Hannula, 74, in Green Bay, WI on October 15, 2024.
Bob was born on December 18, 1949 to Phil and Margaret Hannula in, Laurium, MI and graduated from Calumet High School. He served his country in the Army National Guard. Bob retired from Cleveland Cliffs Tilden Mine as a heavy equipment mechanic, having resided in Marquette for over 40 years.
He married the love of his life, Ann, in 2004, on a beach in West, Florida. They enjoyed living life to the fullest together.
Bob was kind, with a great sense of humor. He was devout in his faith. Bob was a lifelong Detroit Tigers and Lions fan. In his younger years, he raced Formula Ford and Formula Continental class cars. He loved sailing, playing his guitar and foremost spending time with his family.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Ann, daughter Amber Anderson (Scott Thomas), stepchildren Kelly Webb (Kevin), Clayton Gassittie (Tina), Joy Gassittie (Todd Bolton), grandsons Dean Anderson, Landon Gassittie, Nicholas and Jacob Webb, siblings Kathy Tomanec, Bill Hannula, Julie Thibodeau, nieces, nephews and many cousins.
He is predeceased by his parents.
Services will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 29, at St. Louis The King Church, Harvey MI. Visitation will be at 10 a.m., Funeral Mass 11 a.m., luncheon to follow. Interment at Lake View Cemetery in Calumet at 4 p.m.
