LAKE LINDEN — Lorraine Marie (Codere) Kalcich, born Feb. 17, 1929, in Rice Lake to Beatrice Marcotte and Joseph Codere. She passed away July 15, 2025, at Portage Pointe.

Rummy and Pinnacle were always favorite past times of Lorraine. For many years, she was a part of the Lake Linden card club and she often provided rides to the other ladies. Playing cards was also time for her and her family to spend together. She loved teaching her grandkids how to play “Pig,” spoons, and Go fish.
Lorraine also enjoyed baking, her flower garden, word search/Sudoku puzzles, and the time at the camp and Traprock. She was able to see many parts of the country when she went on bus tours with her friends and took pride that she was able to teach herself how to drive.
Lorraine was married on July 31, 1948, to Tony Kalcich at Saint Joseph’s Church in Lake Linden. They resided in Lake Linden, where they raised their four loving children.
Lorraine is proceeded in death by her parents; her husband, Tony; along with brothers and sister-in-laws, Gerard (Lorraine), Clarence (Gladys), Wallace, and Willard. She is also proceeded in death by her grandsons, Scott Willmes and Michael Sarazin; along with great granddaughter, Makkyla Willmes.
