Pete Marth

Peter was a graduate of Michigan Technological University receiving his degree in metallurgical engineering. Following his studies at MTU, he accepted a teaching position at Baraga High School in 1975 where he taught math and physics.

Pete was highly respected by both students and his fellow teaching colleagues.

Beyond his teaching career, Pete was a dedicated recreational sports enthusiast. He enjoyed mountain biking, white water kayaking, weight lifting, hunting and fishing. His pastimes were walking his beloved dogs and playing highly competitive backgammon with his closest friend.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Denise; and his brother, Tom.

Surviving Pete is his partner, Debbie; and his brothers, Jim and Joe.

He’ll be deeply missed by those who love him.
