LAKE LINDEN — Ronald Larry Bourdeau, 85, of Lake Linden, Michigan, Sunrise-Sept. 16, 1939, Sunset-July 4, 2025. He passed away at Canal View Houghton County after a short illness.

He was born at the family home in Lake Linden, a son of George “Jim” and Loraine (Dessellier) Bourdeau. He attended Lake Linden Schools and served in the US Army as a paratrooper. He was an electrician for 50 years and a member of the IBEW.

Ron spent most of his life in Lake Linden and was known by everyone. He was always a quick wit and entertained at large. He enjoyed kayaking and woodworking; he remodeled his home with an artistic flair.

Ron was married to Emily Gervais on June 17, 1961, at Holy Rosary in Lake Linden.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jacques; brother, Dale; and brother, Kenneth, that died in 1938.

Ron leaves behind his wife of 64 years, Emily; daughters, Bridget (Bruce) Wilkinson and Vicki (John) Gravier; grandchildren, Kai, Noa, Lorena, Madalyn, and Aubrey; brothers, Gary (Mary) Bourdeau and Roger Bourdeau; sister-in-law, Nina; and many nieces and nephews.

The celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. The Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden is in charge of arrangements.
