Michael Sloan
ALABAMA — Mr. Michael Stuart Sloan of Toney, Alabama, passed away on Friday, Jan. 17, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was 84.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Valerie Sloan; his parents, Paul and Laverne Sloan; and his sister, Paula Banfield. He was also preceded in death by a sister as a child.
Surviving family members include his children, Andrew, Christina and Jimmy Easkine, and Gabriel; his grandchildren, Wilson, Corey (who he referred to as “My Boy”) Amy Schauder, and Ronnie Comer; his great-grandchild, Alisa Schauder; his two brothers, Ed Sloan and Dick Sloan; a host of other family members and friends who loved him.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on July 24 at the Memorial Cemetery.
