Steven Evanoff

Steve was a very social man and was known to many in the Keweenaw. He loved to tinker, motorcycles, ATVs, RC cars and visiting with people. He will be missed by many.

Steve worked at Warm Rain for 30 years before a forced medical retirement last year. Although he was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 10, 1963, he was a staple of Ahmeek for 50 years with deep family ties to the area. He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father John and Jean Niemi, and brother Loren Evanoff. He is survived by his father, John Evanoff; brothers Mike (Debbie) Evanoff and Kris (Nancy) Evanoff; sister Joanne Evanoff, sister-in-law Jill Pettit, nieces Tristian and Madeline Evanoff and nephew Max Evanoff.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Steven’s home in the Spring. Ryan Funeral Home is assisting the family.
