Bill McDonald

LAKE ST. CROIX BEACH< MN -- Billie L MacDonald, 73, of Lake St. Croix Beach, MN, entered eternal life after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on June 27, 1952, in Marinette, WI. He moved to Houghton, MI, graduated from Houghton High school and attended Michigan Tech University. Bill's life was shaped by his drive and love for golf - he began playing at the age of five years old, a passion that would guide much of his life. A devoted professional, Bill spent over 50 years in the golf industry. He played on the Mini-tours overseas in the 1970's and dedicated decades to growing and supporting the game he loved. He concluded his career with Yamaha Golf & Utility, where his knowledge, work ethic, and integrity were deeply respected. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy, step-daughters, Gina (Jason) Gorman, Heather (Chris) Johnson, Megan (Dan) Panetti, and Brianna Cadwallader, Cherished grandchildren-Mikayla, Adrianna, Dominic, Elijah Gorman, Ella & Jack Johnson, Tanner, Connor, Piper Panetti, Parker, Hudson, Saylor Cadwallader. He is also survived by brother in law and sister in law, Bill & Margo Hall a three nieces and families. He was preceded in death by parents, Francis & Laura Lee MacDonald, sister, Peggy Koske, and son in law, Kelly Cadwallader, Jr. Visitation will be held on March 3, 2026, at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 16770 13th St S, Lake St Croix Beach, MN 55043, beginning at 10:00am until the Mass at 11:00, luncheon to follow. Private burial will follow for family.
