Gerald ‘Jerry’ Lutz
KEASARGE — Gerald “Jerry” Lutz, 56, of Kearsarge, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 19th. Jerry was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of Calumet High School.
Throughout his life, Jerry worked a variety of jobs, including positions with Apria Healthcare, Pat’s Food, and most recently at Pasty Central. In addition to his work, he was a dedicated small business owner, operating the Wolverine Market in Kearsarge for nearly 35 years.
Jerry had an appreciation for history and was an avid collector of antiques and old photographs, particularly those that captured the heritage and stories of his hometown.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Delores Lutz, and his brother, Edward Jr. He is survived by his brother, Michael (Susan) Lutz of Houghton, niece Sarah Lutz of Calumet, nephew Andrew Lutz of Hurley, Wi, sister-in-law Kathleen Lutz of Laurium and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In accordance with Jerry’s wishes, there will be no service. Memorial gifts in his memory may be made to Omega House in Houghton. Arrangements are being handled by Ryan Funeral Home in Calumet.
