Beverly Ann Williams

Beverly Ann (Hagman) Williams, 76 years old of Mission TX went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 31, 2026.

Born in Calumet, MI on October 9, 1949. She was the daughter of Arthur (Budd) and Dolores Hagman.

Beverly met Larry Williams while he was attending Michigan Tech in the Upper Peninsula of MI. They were married in June of 1970 and were inseparable. After receiving his engineering degree, they moved to Connecticut where Beverly earned an Art degree before returning to MI.

In 1975, Beverly and Larry became followers of Jesus Christ during the Jesus People Movement that swept across the USA. In the fall of 1995, they moved to the Rio Grande Valley to learn Spanish at Kingsway Language Institute and to do missionary work in Mexico and along the border. Their ministry brought them to other areas including Redding CA, Pensacola FL and Toronto in addition to the Rio Grande Valley. They spent 3 years at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, deepening their faith and supporting others.

Beverly returned to Mission,TX following the passing of her beloved Larry in November of 2024. There she was most happy attending numerous churches and daily prayer events. A quote from Charles Finney describes our time in prayer with Bev. “Nothing tends more, to cement the hearts of Christians, then praying together. Never do they love one another so well, as when they witness the outpouring of each other’s hearts in prayer.”

Bev was known for her adoration and worship of our Heavenly Father. When she worshipped it was like she really forgot about herself and concentrated on our heavenly Father. For He is Worthy was the cry of her heart. About three weeks before she went to be with Jesus, she was enthusiastically worshiping God in dance and with flags.

She is survived by her sister Sharon Hagman, nephew Barry Krans, great nephews Dylan and Carter, great niece Aryana, and great, great niece Alayne besides cousins, uncles, friends and spiritual sons and daughters. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Alan, nephew Jason and her beloved husband of 54 years, Larry.

There will be a celebration of life planned in the near future.
