HOUGHTON -- Sharon Kay Koskey, 67, of Houghton, passed away at her home on Sunday, September 6, 2026 following a lingering illness with family at her side.
She was born in Hancock on May 25, 1959 to the late Roman and Ruth Koskey. Sharon was a 1977 graduate of Houghton High School and then attended Michigan Tech University. She relocated downstate where she began a career in the banking industry. Sharon moved back to Houghton and continued working in the banking industry until her retirement.
Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother Mike. She is survived by sisters Judy (Edward) Foy and Lynn (Terry) Miller; a brother, David (Donna) Koskey; nieces Pam (Justin) Gilmore, Michelle (Bret) Wazny, and Sara (Andrew) Miller; a nephew, John Miller; great-nieces Margo and Carolynn; and great-nephews Arlo and James.
At Sharon’s request there will be no funeral service. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Houghton.
