Lee Thomas Markham, age 26, was pronounced dead on Feb. 7, 2025, after an apparent fall from a remote hiking trail in Texas. He was born on July 30, 1998, in Hancock, the fourth son of Robert W. Markham Jr. and Mary T. Markham. He graduated from Chassell Township Schools in 2016 with honors. He took after his dad and played baseball for many years, starting in Little League and continuing with Legion Baseball. MANITOWOC, Wis., — Lucille D. Neelands, age 99, of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center. The former Lucille Holme was born on Feb. 17, 1925, at Hubbell a daughter of the late Edward and Jennie (Aho) Holme. She grew up on Tamarack Hill where she enjoyed ice skating and fishing on Lake Superior with her father. Lucille was a 1944 graduate of Dollar Bay High School. Roy C. Lindstrom, 91, passed away on Feb. 19, 2025 at Bayside Village of L’Anse, where he resided for the past 18 months. He was born on Oct. 17, 1933, in Chassell, son of the late John and Viola (Walstrom) Lindstrom. Roy attended Chassell schools, graduating with the Class of 1952 at Chassell High School.
