TOIVOLA — Charles “Sully” Johnson, 80, a resident of Misery Bay passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at the Omega House in Houghton following a short illness. He was born on July 15, 1943, in Hancock, a son of the late Wilhart and Hilda (Mikkola) Johnson. Charles was raised in Toivola and attended the Heikkinen and Jeffers Schools. Mr. Johnson was a veteran having served with the United States Army during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
