LAURIUM — Betty Lou Elaine Berg, 83, a resident of Laurium passed away on Saturday October 21, 2023 at Portage Pointe in Hancock. She was born on December 28, 1939 in Mohawk a daughter to the late Oscar and Lydia (Antikainen) Isaacson. Betty graduated from Calumet High School in 1958. On August 13,1960 she was united in marriage to Marvin Berg and he preceded her in death on November 7, 2017. Ripley — Michele O. “Mickey” Brey, 69, a longtime resident of Ripley, passed away at the Stanton House in South Range on Friday, October 20, 2023. She resided there for the past two years. Mickey was born in Hancock on July 27, 1954 to the late Alfred and Irene (Olive) Brey and lived her entire life in Ripley.
