HOUGHTON: Leona Erma Schjoth Bohto, 78, former resident of Houghton, passed away on July 19, 2026, at PortagePointe in Hancock, with her family by her side. Leona was born on February 20, 1948, a daughter of Ralph Bohto and Hannah (Jaukkuri) Bohto Redlich. She attended the Doelle School in Tapiola and graduated from Baraga High School. She worked as a barber and seamstress. Leona was an active member of the Jehovah’s Witness Congregation and died faithful. She was an avid gardener and homemaker.
