To the Editor:

The Copper Country Ski Tigers Race Team comprised of local middle and high school-aged Nordic skiers would like to give a heartfelt thank you to everyone in our community who made this years Gear Swap a huge success.

We would like to give a special thank you to the Houghton High School for providing the venue, the Daily Mining Gazette, TV6, and the WMPL and WKMJ radio stations for the extended publicity.

Thank you to all the community organizations for advertising the swap on their listservs and also to the all the local businesses who allowed us to display flyers.

The Pleasant View Orchard Bakery in Niagara, Wis. graciously provided all the baked goods and donations earned to benefit the race team.

The Gear Swap was a huge success with all the support given.

Thank you to everyone who sold and purchased items at the swap. We look forward to seeing you this upcoming fall.
