Meet and Greet a huge success

The Copper Country Community Transition Council (CTC) would like to thank all the agencies that made our fourth annual Meet and Greet at Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Houghton, on April 9 a HUGE success. Junior and senior high school students in special education, teachers and parents from the Copper Country school districts of Baraga, Calumet, Horizon, Copper Country Intermediate Hancock High School, Lake Linden, Adams, Houghton and Chassell networked with support services who will benefit student’s after graduation. Thanks to Coke Products for donating drinks and Sts Peter and Paul for the facility and janitorial services. Thanks to the young adults in Student Leadership and Elsa and Michelle from Sts Peter and Paul for helping with registration and food service. Also thanks for the support of Houghton Transit and Hancock ROTC. We are blessed in the Copper Country with professionals who are sincerely interested in the welfare of our students and their transition into adulthood. Thank you to the following organizations:
