To the editor:

In response to the “Letter to the Editor” titled: “One from the Trump Cult” DMG 9-8-18.

Why is it in today’s tribalism culture every time someone writes or speaks boldly against someone else, they are accused of committing “HATE” speech? Everything I write about President Trump comes from his speech or his tweets. If all voters watch is Fox “TRUMP” news channel then they will be ignorant of whom Trump really is.

I’m an independent voter so I watch all the news channels and read other peoples views about politics and world events; not just the ones that tell me what I want to hear.

I don’t call myself a Christian anymore because the words Christian, gay, fundamentalist, truth, hero, love and many other words that were once words of decency and integrity are all watered down to meaningless. I am a Spirit-filled born again believer in Jesus Christ, an independent thinker that is not in anyone’s box.

I’m crying out to a lost world “Repent and be Born Again” we are in the end days there may not be much more time to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Please do not let some Religious false teaching get in the way or turn you off from a God that loves you very much. Salvation is a gift of Gods love and grace and we accept it by faith or reject it, and we don’t have to work for it. Salvation is Gods way to eternal life; our way is to eternal death and damnation. Salvation means: if we confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Being born again is a Spirit-filled lifestyle, not a religion; we make through salvation Jesus Christ Lord of our life. As we study the Bible and as we seek guidance from the Holy Spirit we can learn to live a life without condemnation, shame, guilt, fear of sin and as we age the fear of dying. Trust me after 48 years of serving God, this lifestyle works and is eternal. No way would I go back to that self-centered, sinful lifestyle of my past.
