To the editor:

There are so many people I would like to thank for their help and support in my run for Houghton County Commissioner for District 4 (city of Houghton) but to list them all here would fill the better part of a full page.

Thank you to the voters in the city of Houghton, to the kind folks who put my yard signs on their properties, to the extraordinary campaign committee that worked so hard for my co-candidates and me, to those who wrote letters on my behalf, to those who endorsed me both for my appointment to the board in June and for the election.

Thank you to those who generously contributed to my campaign efforts, including the Houghton County Democrats and those working at the Democrat campaign office.

Thank you to Scott Dianda and Ken Summers for their support and guidance throughout the campaign, to my friends and family, especially my mother who sets an example of a strong, professional woman who is active in her community.

I am humbled by all of the support from everyone included in this list. Thank you.
