To the editor:

On behalf of the Parade of Nations committee, we would like to thank all the businesses, departments, organizations, performers and volunteers who donated their money and/or time to help make the 30th Parade of Nations a success. Hundreds of people were involved and thousands attended. For all who gave, your contribution was important and we appreciate and thank you for whatever you were able to do.

To our hard-working committee members, the 77 businesses and university departments who donated money this years, the approximately 200 people (50 from the Cass Tech band) who performed at the Dee Stadium, the hundreds who marched in the parade, the organizations and businesses who provided 22 delicious and interesting booths and to all the volunteers who helped with set up, with crowd management, with assisting during the Multicultural Festival, and with clean up, thank you, thank you, thank you.

With everyone’s help again, we look forward to the 31st Parade of Nations next September 2020.
