Alfred Erickson American Legion Post 186 would like to thank everyone who supported our Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction Fundraiser held on September 29, 2019.

Thank you to all who attended, to all who helped out with the event, and to the following businesses for their donations: Advance Auto Parts, Auto Pro Glass & Tire, Auto Zone, Finlandia University Football Team and Athletic Department, G.B.’s, the Green Bay Packers, Cathy Lucchesi-Gedda, Maggie’s Spa Resort & Massage, Michigan Tech University Athletic Department, MTU University Images, Bob Nutini, O’Reilly Auto Parts, Papa Murphy’s Pizza, Pizza Hut, Precision Automotive, Sayen’s Auto Sales, Tadych’s Econo Foods, Xpressions Salon. Thank you to Graham Jaehnig and the Daily Mining Gazette for covering our event. Our fundraiser was well attended and because of everyone’s generosity, was a great success. Proceeds from the spaghetti dinner will go towards supporting the post, veterans and community service. The Silent Auction proceeds helped raise funds for the Capital Campaign for post improvements.

The support to area veterans’ groups and veterans from our community is truly overwhelming.
