Thank you to the Daily Mining Gazette for creating the recent pullout of student-designed ads for local businesses and congratulations to all the 5th grade students whose ads were chosen by businesses!

I enjoyed the creativity and individuality of your ads and artwork. You all did a great job!

Thanks, also, to the businesses that paid each student for their chosen artwork/ad. This was a win/win idea. What a wonderful way to involve the community at this time of social distancing! We can still be together in spirit.

Supporting the DMG is a visible way of sharing and of keeping our local communities together. With newspapers across the nation struggling right now, we can appreciate having this precious local connection which the ads so ably demonstrated.

So, I invite you to join me in supporting the DMG in any way you can–by subscribing to it, reading it, writing for it, and sharing the information you read. We need to support this valuable public resource that keeps us connected and gives us a local voice.
