Too many double standards

To the editor:

Protesters injured hundreds of policemen but liberal/progressive politicians and reporters were slow to admit there were riots. Chaos created by “peaceful” protests helped rioters to vandalize property and attack people they hate.

ANTIFA and BLM radicals protested what cops did in Minneapolis and Kenosha but ignored the death of retired African-American police captain David Dorn, killed by rioters in St. Louis. His widow spoke at the GOP convention.

The only news in the DMG about Capt. Dorn came from Conservative columnist Cal Thomas, not the AP.

Leftists condemn America’s slavery that ended 155 years ago but praise recent Communist slave states (USSR, China, Cuba, etc.).

Filipino-American Michelle Malkin was suspended from Twitter when she agreed with Pres. Trump that force should be used to stop riots. However, Shaun King’s hateful message stayed: That BLM radical said statues of Jesus “should also come down. They are a form of white supremacy.” He ignored the fact that Jesus died for all sinners from every radical and ethnic group.

Innocent Blacks were lynched in the past, but now most Black murder victims were killed by other Blacks. Do those victims of violence matter? Their deaths are rarely publicized nationally and never protested.

When white cops, acting as individuals in stressful situations, shoot Blacks resisting arrest, it is denounced as “systematic racism.” What abut the Black police chief in Minneapolis? I’m not blaming him for George Floyd’s death, but he represents the “system” in that city.

Isn’t it “systematic ageism” when thousands of elderly patients died of COVID from sick people put into facilities where they were? That happened after the governors of Michigan and New York signed executive orders.
