To the editor:

In response to columnist John Kass and his “what if” scenario in which it was republican mayors who couldn’t control their cities and people in MAGA hats taking to the streets instead of democratic mayors and Black Lives Matter protesters, I would like to point out some important points which he seems to have conveniently forgotten.

People in MAGA hats are not getting shot in the back by police.

People in MAGA hats are not being suffocated by police following wellness check calls.

People in MAGA hats are not getting shot because the police busted down the door of the wrong house with a no-knock warrant.

People in MAGA hats are not getting rounded up like animals while out for a jog and killed by citizen vigilantes.

The children of People in MAGA hats are not confronted and shot by citizen vigilantes while out buying Skittles.

When People in MAGA hats are forced to deal with the above, then John Kass will have an argument to make.
