Some statistics

To the editor:

Some statistics: Michigan has twice the population of Finland, 16 times the cases of coronavirus and 20 times the deaths– as of Nov. 9. In Finland, they simply followed the guidelines, didn’t fight and lie and demonize.

For months already they’ve been having schools and businesses open (with common sense measures). So those Finns are doing the best in the world as of today’s news, which I read in a Finnish newspaper (Helsingin Sanomat) on my smartphone. That could be Michigan if we were a lot smarter. It’s no surprise that Finland continues to very diligently restrict travel to their country.
