With so much negative all around us, the Copper Country has a gem right here in our back yard, something truly to cheer about. I am talking about the addition of orthopedic surgeon Dr. Aaron Leineager. What a welcome addition to the Portage family.

Dr. Leineager just did a total knee for me and wow, what an amazing, wonderful experience. Dr. Leineager went from a surgeon to our friend. He is so kind, polite, caring and very patient. He listens when you talk and will answer any and all questions you have. His staff is so welcoming, like they are happy to see you nd always bending over backwards to make you feel comfortable.

Portage Hospital, along with the Great Lakes clinics go so above and beyond to help you with anything you need done. There is definitely no need to travel out of the area to seek medical or surgical assistance; we have it right here in our own back yard. Couple that with the amazing staff in the physical therapy department and you have the complete package right here to get you back on your feet in no time. Our physical therapist is Darlene Blough, and let me tell you, she is an amazing, wonderful person.
