Where does God stand?

To the editor:

Many people took this Republican cultish takeover of the government way too seriously, gathering in large crowds during and after the election, while not respecting the spread of the virus and not following simple scientific guidelines. How foolish can people get? Now we are reaping the harvest of that foolishness. The Republican cult leadership was the most irresponsible leadership I have ever seen. They lead their flock by horrible example, some people may have even died from the virus because of their stupidity.

Some said the president was placed in office by God; I told them not by God, but by mislead, uninformed voters. If it was God, then He must be really angry with those voters that put the former president in office and God displayed his wrath against them, because President-elect Joe Biden won by more than six million votes; more votes for a president than ever before. That tells me the vast majority of Americans are fed up with all this foolishness of the last four years. Many didn’t even bother to vote.

As a Bible believer I live under the New Covenant of grace, we live by grace through faith, not by the law. Thank God for Jesus or we would all be in big trouble. God is not angry with us anymore and does not pour out His wrath upon us any longer as He did under the law in the Old Testament. Jesus and only Jesus shedding his blood satisfied God’s wrath. There is no other way to be born again other than to repent, and accept Jesus Christ as the Lord of your life. Don’t put trust in some cult leader in or out of a religion. Use the Bible as your daily guide.

Pastor Toth said, “vote the Bible.” That is very good advice; Timothy 1:3 is a good place to start, then read the Book of Proverbs for guidance. It’s getting very hard to find godly men to vote for in the presidential race. As an independent voter, I had to vote for an independent candidate all the way back to Jimmy Carter, a godly man. This time was no different.

My advice to our soon to be former president: Get rid of the golf cart and walk if you hope to run and lose again in 2024.
