To the editor:

The letter to the editor titled “open letter to Ed McBroom” crosses a line in civil discourse and didn’t deserve to have been printed.

Accusing Sen. McBroom of “becoming an instrument of Satan” is an example of the unhinged statements that are uttered by people that result in harm to others.

We have, unfortunately, people that continue to believe the “Big Lie” about the integrity of the 2020 election and the election loss of the “Mussolini wanna be.”

I wish that our State Rep. Greg Markkanen and United States Rep. Jack Bergman had the courage that Sen. McBroom has shown and denounce the Big Lie and let us get past this unhealthy political garbage.
