To the editor:

Everyone wants to do more with their money and Giving Tuesday is a great way to do that.

I volunteer for medical transports for Little Brothers – Friends of the Elderly and get to see what Little Brothers does and to meet such nice people who haven’t been out since their last doctor’s appointments.

On special holidays, they have great meals, then they provide wood for home residents who make any for themselves. Or if you are in your final days of life, you can be at a great place like Omega House.

There are so many nonprofit organizations that can only make it with volunteers and your donations. The Portage Health Foundation’s Giving Tuesday is an opportunity to give and get the most out of your dollar for some great organizations.
