To the editor:

I am writing this letter to you on Veteran’s Day. This day is important to me, as it recognizes and remembers those men and women (and their families) who have provided me with the freedom and life that I have.

As a civilian, I don’t think I can possibly grasp their sacrifices, but I am so appreciative of those who serve.

This year, through talking with several veterans, I learned that Applebees provides a full meal and a gift card to our veterans to thank them for their service. I appreciate the value that Applebees places on our veterans. It says a lot about an organization to give back in such a way.

To all veterans, I thank you for your service.

To Applebees, thank you for honoring our veterans.
