To the editor:

It has been nearly a year since the former President Trump lost the election and still refuses to concede to President Biden. Trump’s Presidency was a false narrative from start to finish (Obama birtherism to Jan. 6 coup d’etat). Simply put, Trump is a pathological liar. The Presidential Office is the highest office of the land and is a place where truth matters. The consequences of lies from this office have proven to be deadly.

The coup d’etat orchestrated by Trump and carried out by Trump supporters failed miserably creating a worldwide embarrassment of our democratic electoral process and also death.

Trumps failure to let the doctors and scientists dictate COVID-19 protocols caused thousands of additional deaths from the pandemic. All of his false statements, lack of scientific knowledge, and political approach are all contributing factors to COVID-19 deaths.

After disobedience to God (Trump’s profound lying while in public office) a person must make a choice, either the downward spiral of sin and degradation represented by Satan or the other choice, the road to redemption represented by Jesus.

Power hungry Trump figures it is better to reign in Hell, than to serve in Heaven.
