To the editor:

Good morning from and greetings from Rockford, Illinois.

This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24.

I miss my morning prayer time on WMPL, but think of you often and keep you all in my prayers. I am feeling good and trying to stay strong and healthy with an in-house physical therapy program. I have met a lot of good people here and try to be a blessing to all I meet. Lord, willing, I hope to be back in the Copper Country in the spring.

In closing, I want to encourage you all to stay close to Jesus and keep praying.

And with those words, a song comes to mind…

“Whisper a prayer in the morning,

whisper a prayer at noon,

Whisper a prayer in the evening to keep your heart in tune.

Jesus may come in the morning,

Jesus may come in the evening.

So, keep your heart in tune.”
