Lights please
To the editor:
It amazes me how many drivers don’t use their headlights, even near dusk under grey skies or in snowy conditions.
Anyone can forget to turn them on, but when you don’t respond to quick on-and-off flashes from oncoming traffic, you just don’t care.
Interestingly enough, in my observations, about three-quarters of the no-lights drivers are in big pickup trucks. What’s up with that?
Justin spotting a dark vehicle near dusk, or a white car/truck in snowy conditions, is hard enough. Please help other drivers by using your headlights.
