On abortion

To the editor:

Dear Reverend,

You wrote in your Aug. 8 DMG letter to the editor that, “I am a pro-choice and pro-democracy believer. Also, I believe the new Texas aborts democracy.”

This letter and its contents from the Reverend are concerning. Democracy, when plagued with rational liberalism, is a curse to our nation. Under its influence, the fear of God is being removed from the eyes of the people. The Webster Dictionary describes rationalism as, “the principle of practice of accepting reason as the only authority in determining one’s opinions or course of action; in philosophy, the theory that the reason, or intellect, is the true source of knowledge, rather than the senses.” “In theology, the doctrine, that rejects revelation and the supernatural, and makes reason the sole source of knowledge.”

Liberal is described as, “one who has liberal principles. The quality or state of being liberal, especially in politics or religion.”

Without the light of the scripture, we all are nothing but a prayer for the devil to do his thing in politics and religion (2 Corinthians 11:14-5; Timothy 2:24-26).

Pro-choice advocates (including those who believe in abortions up to the last seconds of babies’ births) need laws that make this ghastly practice legal. The bonus, given by the devil, is that there are Christian pastors and Jewish rabbis who openly blessing the Planned Parenthood facilities and workers in them for accomplishing the demanded “divine mission.” Sadly, there is more.

Through recent Fox News interviews with David Dalein, and revelations from “breakingchristiannews.com,” we have been informed that the University of Pittsburgh receives money via federal grants, approved through the Department of Allergy and Infectious Diseases by Dr. Anthony Fauci, to do research on aborted babies. There are researchers who are grafting the scalps of aborted babies onto mice in an attempt to create “humanized mice.” The new details about this research that came out recently show, via its own admission, that is harvesting body parts from live babies, so as not to adversely affect “the specimens.”

With an induced labor, mothers have live births, some of viable age. While the babies’ hearts are still beating, the researchers cut out their kidneys. Babies, many with developed blood and nervous systems, are killed cruelly and heartlessly.

With this knowledge, I am of the belief that the Texas lawmakers were informed of these kinds of beastly practices and of the money flow. They, as contended with the truth (Jude 3), are in essence also exposing the hidden secrets that are being done in the cover of darkness.

With the words of their 29-year-old Patrick Henry to the Virginia Convention of delegates on March 23, 1775, before the War of Independence, I would like all the readers of this letter to think what the rational liberalism is doing to our beloved country.

“Mr. President, it is natural to men to indulge in the illusions of hope. We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth — and listen to the song of the siren; till she transforms us into beasts. Is this the part of wise men, engaged in a great and arduous struggle for liberty? Are disposed to be of the number of those who, having eyes, see not, and having ears, hear not, the things which so nearly concern their temporal salvation? For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst and provide for it.”

Dear Reverend, I pray for your conversion and for the pro-choice marchers in our area. I do this in the spirit of 1 Corinthians 10:12.

EDITOR’S NOTE: The website Medical News Today discusses when abortion is legal in the United States.

Where abortion is legal, doctors usually perform them in the first trimester or the early part of the second trimester. The first trimester lasts from conception to week 12. The second trimester runs from week 13 to week 28.

In 2015, two-thirds of reported abortions in the country took place before week 8 ended. Taking that further, they state that 91.1% took place in fewer than 13 weeks.

They went on to state, “abortion is rare during the third trimester, but a doctor may perform it after 29 weeks of pregnancy if a woman’s life is in danger.”
