Yes hopefully the U.P. will get better internet thanks to the omnibus bill passed by Congress.
Northern Michigan University will be working on this project. Jack Bergman was given credit for this effort in a recent editorial letter. Not so fast!
He didn’t even vote for the bill. So he does not deserve any credit even if he did take the money to fund this project.
