To the editor:

Please vote for Craig Waddell on May 3 for the open position on City Council. 

Some of Craig’s qualifications are: he founded and served on the West Houghton Neighborhood Association, he served on the Michigan Tech Senate for nine years, and for the last 18 months he has attended all the City Council meetings, and Planning Commission meetings.  

In the near future the Houghton City Council will be making major decisions regarding important problems the city is facing such as: the parking decks, waterfront development, maintaining a vibrant downtown, the sale of city property, and city parking.

As long-time residents of Houghton, we feel Craig Waddell is the right candidate for City Council. Please Vote.
