I want to extend a HUGE thank you to the members of the Houghton County City Council for approving funding for the Pewabic Street Community Garden. The Pewabic Street Garden creates a beautiful sanctuary in the middle of our city that supports an environment of farm to table thinking.
The garden hosts school and community groups throughout the summer and fall to learn more about planting and growing vegetables. I think the garden is a wonderful selling point for our city and am glad that the City Council values the garden as well. Thank you.
