To the Editor:

As I write this letter, the U.S. Supreme Court seems poised to do away with its 1973 decision, which facilitated the destruction of tens of millions of innocent lives.

This is very welcomed news and a long awaited moment in history!

In the national debate regarding the rights of preborn children, it is critical that we turn for direction to the Bible, which is the only true moral compass. “Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” — Jeremiah 1:4-5.

Long before the discoveries of modern science, God in His word clearly showed the definite individualism of each preborn child.

“I will praise Thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. My substance was not hid from Thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in Thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.” — Psalm 139:14-16.

These places show the extreme depravity of the abortion industry, which under the guise of healthcare, promotes and benefits from the brutal destruction of human lives!

For years, abortion giants like planned parenthood have raked in large amounts of money by dismembering preborn babies and selling their body parts! (They also receive hundreds of millions of tax-payer dollars).

Humanity should be shocked by this egregious practice! The time and resources spent in destroying life, would instead be much better spent in showing care and concern for mothers and their children in need!

May the scourge of abortion pass swiftly from our land, and may every human life be again properly appreciated!
