Fishing Derby a success

Our 20th Annual Calumet-Keweenaw Sportsmen’s Club Kids Fishing Derby held on July 19th at the Swedetown Pond brought in a lot of kids and fish! 208 kids enjoyed catching hundreds of fish with a free hot dog lunch when the fishing ended. Prizes were awarded to the largest Bluegill, Perch, Bullhead and the smallest fish in separate categories for boys and girls. With the largest fish a 9-1/4″ Perch.
The Calumet-Keweenaw Sportsmen’s Club would like to thank the following for their support and donations.
