Trump the Bully

To the editor:

Once a bully, always a bully.

President Trump is trying to bully other countries in several ways. He wants to buy, or take over by force if necessary, Greenland from Denmark. He wants to retake control of the Panama Canal. He wants Canada to become the 51st state and readjust the border. He is creating economic warfare with some other countries by his tariffs and producing ill will at the same time.

Throughout his political life he has constantly berated his opponents with nasty slurs like a fifth-grade schoolyard bully.

Here are some samples of his childish name calling: lunatic, birdbrain, weak, stupid, deranged, crazy, vicious, wacko, basket case, degenerate fool, moron, psycho, clown, scum, dope, jerk, sleazebag, blathering idiot, fat and ugly, clueless, and the most disrespectful of all is his calling our faithful armed services men and women “suckers and losers.”

Nobody in the armed services or veterans should ever cast a vote for Trump because of this treasonous statement. The president of the United States should be a role model for our children and Trump fails to set an example. The sad thing is that Republicans in Congress just quietly go along with him, or shrug their shoulders, or hide behind the nearest bush.
