Today’s Democrats are different
Editor:
Common sense Democrats of the past were very different from thos of today. Currently, it appears that Democrats simply are not capable of producing good legislative work for this country but, instead, they spend much of their time on damaging subjects such as authorizing open borders without federal law compliance, ejection deportation of criminal illegal aliens b using Democratic biased judges, protecting illegal aliens in place of American citizen, supporting far left and dangerous anti-ICE protestor, backing socialism and shutting down out government without an appropriate reason.
In addition, Democrats refused to truly listen to President Trump’s constructive SOTU speech and instead they reinforced their own pure ignorance. These type of wild and radical Democrats will never take any consideration regarding our American Citizens. The American people desperately need to bring back common sense Democrats again.

Mysterious Motives
Editor:
If we look back at speeches he made in Congress, Marco Rubio has been more-or-less advocating for a war on Iran for at least 10 years. Trump picked Rubio as his Secretary of State immediately after winning the 2024 presidential election, thus setting the direction of his second administration.
Bear in mind that it was Trump in his first term who tore up Obama’s nuclear agreement with Iran, and definitely restarted Iran’s nuclear development clock ticking at that time.
So … all this long-term stuff being the case, Trump’s limited bombing of Iran last June could maybe be seen as strategically buying more time for the U.S. to prepare for our main attack, right? Maybe to do obvious stuff like refill the half-empty Strategic Petroleum Reserve, on an accelerated schedule, right? Or to study/adopt Ukrainian drone warfare technology, especially the latest advanced (and cheap) Ukrainian interceptor drones, right? Or at least to talk to our allies around the world and get them on board, right?
Yet Trump did exactly NONE of those things! Trump has been refilling the oil reserve no faster than Biden had — Biden having had no intent to start a war at the Strait of Hormuz. Trump actively and rudely turned down Ukrainian President Zelensky’s offer to share drone technology, made last summer. Trump spent all the months since last summer threatening to invade fellow NATO-member nations, falsely insulting the courage of those who came to help us after 9/11, slapping tariffs on our friends, and doing everything possible to alienate our (former?) allies and drive them away. Including buddying up with, advocating for, and actively helping, their (and our!) clear-cut enemy, Vladimir Putin!
So now, as we see gas prices climbing at the pump and Americans dying in yet another Middle East conflict, as we watch our military trying to shoot down $40,000 Iranian drones with $7,000,000 Patriot missiles instead of $2,500 Ukrainian interceptors, it turns out maybe our President Trump is not actually a brilliant 3D chess player after all. Maybe he did not plan this attack since 2016, or November 2024, or even June 2025. Maybe he just got a sudden urge, for some unknown reason, to start a big newsworthy war without any plan or preparation for victory.
