IRON RIVER — Calumet held off West Iron County and medalist Trey Bociek to win the George Young Invitational boys golf meet Thursday at George Young Recreational Complex.

The Copper Kings scored a 337 to 343 for the host Wykons. Third-place Kingsford posted a 347.

Bociek carded a five-over par 77. Runner-up medalist Wyatt Tuoriniemi of Calumet shot a 78 and teammate Tyler Johnson was next with 83.

Kingsford’s Allen Linn placed fourth with an 83. Ethan Pattison led L’Anse with an 85.

Houghton was led by Jisung Choi, who finished with an 86. Ontonagon’s Mitch Borseth also finished with an 86.
