Calumet bowlers compete in home meet

LAURIUM — The Calumet bowling team defeated visiting Menominee 236 to 178 on Saturday at Miller’s Recreation. In another matchup, the Copper Kings lost 326 to 301.

Mackenzie Miller led Calumet’s first team with a combined score of 392. Gwen Paisich bowled a 348, Eden Bedore scored a 344, Kim Grunland bowled a 338 and Emma Hatter had a 304.

In the second contest Jordan Kesanen led the Calumet bowlers with 517, Alex Miller had a 510, Mark Musial rolled a 480, Faith Schwandt had a 428 and Aubry Bastion bowled a 391.
