LAKE LINDEN — Freshman Christian Hocking scored 15 points and senior Carson Turner added 13 to give the Jeffers Jets a 52-31 win over the Lake Linden-Hubbell Lakes Friday in Lake Linden.

Turner recorded a double-double with 11 rebounds, including six coming on the offensive end in the Copper Mountain Conference contest. Hocking added three boards, three steals and two blocks.

Carter Crouch led LL-H with 11 points.

After the game was tied at 12 following the first quarter, Jeffers outscored LL-H 20-2 to take control of the game.

Next up, Jeffers hosts L’Anse on Friday at 7:15 p.m., and LL-H travels to Houghton on Tuesday at 7:15 p.m.
