IRON RIVER — Quarterback Brent Loukus and Matt Ojala each accounted for three scores as undefeated Calumet clubbed West Iron County 43-6 in a West PAC crossover football game at Nelson Field.

Calumet (4-0) also capitalized on three WIC (3-1) turnovers. The Copper Kings never punted and the mercy rule clock began with 8:08 left in the fourth quarter.

Calumet held a 23-6 halftime lead. WIC’s points resulted from Zach Quintero’s three-yard touchdown run late in the first quarter.

Late in the fourth quarter, WIC got inside the Calumet four-yard-line but did not score.

Calumet gained 312 yards to 240 for WIC.

The Wykons travel to Gogebic on Friday for another crossover game.
