Copper Kings defeat Wykons
CALUMET — Calumet claimed a 29-18 halftime lead and held off West Iron County, 58-50, in West PAC girls basketball Thursday.
The Wykons (1-1) got within three points in the fourth quarter.

Riley Stine’s 16 points led the Wykons. Golliher added 13 points and Anna Malmquist had 11. Emily Nelson had 10 points, 15 rebounds and 4 blocks.
Calumet hit five three-pointers to two for WIC.
“Overall, I think it was a great team effort,” said Laho.
